I ordered a blem bcg to save some money. Fine toothed comb and couldn't find an issue. Runs just as perfectly as the TiN bcg I have. Always recommend Cryptic Coatings. Ordered the BCG and had it in my firearm in 2 days. Nothing to complain about. Unknown on 5th Oct 2017
This BCG is wonderful, I can feel the responsiveness as I shoot. The difference is very noticeable. It also looks spectacular. Unknown on 3rd Oct 2017
It is my first Blem product ever... it tool a while to find the blemish... a very small spot on the bolt face... I will get at least 2 more... great deal Snake on 20th Sep 2017
I never write reviews. But after using these bolts and various coated parts for half a year now I'm making an exception. I've been cleaning AR bolts since 1978 when I joined the Marine Corps. Retired 30 years later. I wish Cryptic Coatings would have been in business decades ago.
I bought my first BCG from CC in March and put it in a National Match rifle. We can shoot 500 to 1500 rounds during training weekends, sometimes even more if we practice ITT. So my gun gets cleaned a lot, but with FAR less time involved.
After nearly 10,000 rounds I've not had a single failure to feed, fire, extract or eject. And accuracy was still there after switching to this BCG. Of course, you still need to lube the gun, but not nearly as much which means there's a lot less crap getting puffed into your eye.
I now have three BCG's from CC and still need a couple more. Putting them in all my guns.
P.S. The BCG in my competition rifle is a blem. Amotsang on 12th Sep 2017
Honestly, I'll buy blemished CC BCG's any chance I get. They are the same exact thing with a minor flaw, still backed with their warranty. I had to search for the blemish for about 2 or 3 minutes to find it. Scott on 12th Sep 2017
I got the "blem" version and can't see anything wrong or blemished about it, it looks and performs perfect. Has a nice smoky black color and incredibly easy to clean. Tried it today pretty much dry and performed excellent. All around great product. Unknown on 8th Sep 2017
My Blemished BCG had very little blemish to it. Not even noticeable with the dust cover open. Very good quality and very attractive. Would definitely buy these again. Unknown on 5th Sep 2017
For me, it began with the customer service. Responded to my email immediately providing me with tracking information. Once the item arrived, as scheduled, it exceeded my expectations. I opted for one of the Mystic Black "blemished" inventory, and I can not notice where the affected area is. This speaks volume on the internal quality control, and product standards this company follows. I will be buying another very soon for my next build. 2 Thumbs up!!!@ C.C Kevin on 25th Aug 2017
I have these in all my AR style rifles (2-5.56, .308, 300 AAC) and they are fantastic. They not only operate flawlessly, but they are incredibly easy to clean. If you shoot a large volume of rounds and/or suppressed, they make the whole session more enjoyable. Mike in Texas on 15th Aug 2017
The pictures of these BCGs are awesome but don't even compare to when you have one peeking out of your dust cover. Couldn't be happier. JBoy on 12th Aug 2017
