I have these in all my AR style rifles (2-5.56, .308, 300 AAC) and they are fantastic. They not only operate flawlessly, but they are incredibly easy to clean. If you shoot a large volume of rounds and/or suppressed, they make the whole session more enjoyable. Mike in Texas on 15th Aug 2017
The pictures of these BCGs are awesome but don't even compare to when you have one peeking out of your dust cover. Couldn't be happier. JBoy on 12th Aug 2017
I received the BCG in record time. I can't find anything wrong with this BCG. Unless its not as bright as the good one's. But the savings are great. I will be picking up more of these down the road for other builds. Love it. Richcreek TACTICAL (YouTube) on 8th Aug 2017
I ordered a blemished Mystic Black BCG to use in a 10.3" 5.56 pistol. I can't find the blemish at all. Now that I have made a few trips to the range with it I'm sold. I use Slips 2000 and wipe down the moving parts every 250-300 rounds. Sometimes I put the gun away for several days before cleaning. Even then a dry paper towel will wipe away all of the carbon to include the normally stuborn bits on the tail of the bolt. Even dry the BCG is slick to the touch. It really feels like it has a coat of oil on it at all times. When I reassemble I add a few drops of oil on the friction rails and the bolt itself and do it all again. I haven't had any need to scrub any parts at all over the course of 1200ish rounds. I'm not really a fancy coating kind of guy but this one is really cool. Jon on 13th Jul 2017
This is my second "blemished" unit, although I still can't find what exactly about it is blemished. I was lucky to get it with the additional July 4 sale, so it was almost $75 off the regular/unblemished product price. Overall great value (in line with the price point of a good nickel boron BCG). Super easy to clean. I have 3 of them in total and couldn't be happier. 1 is running in a custom 223/556 build, and the other 2 in custom 300 blk builds. Headspacing is fine with all 3 of my barrels including 2 odin works barrels and 1 KAK 300 "Mr. Blonde" barrel. Unknown on 11th Jul 2017
This BCG from Cryptic Coating is flawless for a blemished unit and it fits my upper with no modifications and works great. I've only put a few rounds down range with this BCG and showing no wear and not expecting any, Thank You Cryptic Coatings for a superior product. John Schwartz on 11th Jul 2017
This is the final component to a .300 Blackout build that I started at the beginning of the year and I couldn't be more pleased. Not only is it exactly as described, it is actually better. Having done finishing work for many decades, I truly cannot find a blemish on this piece. Kudos to you guys for a product line that is exceptional and a company that still values integrity. Blemished mystic Black BCG- I don't know how they can sell it as blemished, because it looks and runs perfectly! Amazing product, this is my third one, I will only use cryptic bcgs. O on 3rd Jul 2017
Ive been shooting AR platform rifles for 10 years and I am very impressed with this BCG!!! Used many makes, models, gas impingement and gas piston systems with varying results. I can hands down say this is the best upgrade you can do for your AR if thats all you decide to do.
It is being used with a ghost firearms upper reciever and juggernaut tactical lower. I tried .223 55grain reloads with only a couple failure to return to full battery(common). Second was federal m193 5.56 100 rounds with not one failure, including a 30 round mag dump. Third was american eagle 62grain fmj 5.56 with excellent results!
Blemish? What blemish, I cannot see any blems on this it appears flawless to me thanks guys for the 15% off. My business will go all to you for future BCG needs, along with all my friends too!! Matt D on 28th Jun 2017
