I ordered a "blemished" Mystic Bronze, and it looks just as good in person as the pictures on the website. I can't even see the imperfection that they're calling a blemish. Max on 8th Apr 2019
Ordered a "blemished" mystic black bcg and it took forever to find the "blemish". Only with a flashlight. Looking down the inside of the rear of the carrier can you see it. Absolutely recommend this bcg, and will.be purchasing more for my next builds. Costing is extremely slick, cycles smooth as can be and even after a few mag dumps it was cool to the touch. Outstanding workmanship and all around great experience dealing with cryptic coatings. Josh R. on 8th Apr 2019
I have been researching and wanting to buy these bcg but never convince myself that I could pay $300+ for a bcg. However, I found the blemished section and I fell in love. These bcg rock, their customer service rocks and I am a very happy consumer. Their agent who I spoke with was helpful and very accommodating. Thanks so much!! Jaryd on 4th Apr 2019
I decided to go with an “blemished” bolt for a small discount. It was well worth it. The BCG is well made and the coating makes it very slick. I’ve heard you can run it with no oil but i suggest to keep it moist. You can tell from its heft that it’s of a higher quality and the color just brings a little excitement to your rig. I’ll be buying another one soon. JasonMays77 on 3rd Apr 2019
This is my first purchase from these guys for my 6.5CM build. They must use microscopes in the quality control dept. I can't find a blemish anywhere! I will be buying one for my 5.56 and all future builds. Garrett on 23rd Mar 2019
Received in a timely manor and very happy. I see Cyrptic coatings being my go to place for Bolts. Street007 on 20th Mar 2019
My first purchase, and I know it will not be my last. phenomenal quality. I put it in a new fortis billet receiver set, and works smoother than silk. great BCG Lee on 15th Mar 2019
I couldn’t even find a blemish on the inside or outside. Absolutely beautiful. Dry BCG feels like a normal BCG with lube. Have not gotten the chance to shoot with it yet, but know I will not be disappointed. Unknown on 8th Mar 2019
The other reviews are accurate in that the “blemished” BCGs are, at least visually, 100% void of any defects Unknown on 6th Mar 2019
This is my second Mystic Black .223/5.56 BCG, blemished. Fantastic product, the coating is not only beautiful but makes cleaning so much easier. Carbon can't really stick to the surface so instead of building up, it almost self-cleans as you continue firing. I am very confident if I ever have any issues, it will likely not be due to the BCG. I have shot dozens of service rifles int he Marines for over 12 years and these things would save taxpayers millions in rags and CLP alone!
Regarding buying blemished, I can't find anything wrong with it. I am convinced the "blemished" section is just a way for Cryptic Coatings to be generous and give everyone a nice fat discount. Thanks! Josh on 3rd Dec 2018
