Bolt carrier group for AR15, M16, or M4 compatible with semi and full auto versions. Carrier is machined from Mil-Spec 8620 tool steel with shrouded firing pin and Mil-Spec chrome lined interior. BCG includes the Mil-Spec chrome lined and heat treated gas key. Gas key is sealed then secured to carrier with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked per Mil-Specs. This ensures proper gas system functioning. The bolt assembly is CNC machined from Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158® steel then shot peened for increased strength per Mil-Spec; includes tool steel extractor with Wolff spring, viton O-ring , black insert; tool steel ejector pin spring; firing pin chromed finished with firing pin retaining pin and cam pin. Total weight completely assembled 8.2oz. HPT (High Pressure Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected).

Perfect BCG
These light weight BGC’s from Cryptic are worth every penny. I have them in all of my -15 platform rifles and would not have it any other way. They cycle smoother and work flawlessly. Wish they made them for the 308 platform! AR Hunter on 4th Dec 2018

Amazing coating
This BCG is amazing, the coating is so slick and smooth it almost slipped right out of my hands when I took it out of the packaging. This is the third BCG that I own from cryptic coatings.
I have about 2,500 rounds through the first BCG about 700 through the second one I have not had a chance to use their lightweight one but I'm sure it will be just like the others.
The customer service of cryptic Coatings is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
If Aesthetics is what you're looking for or form or function their bcg's are one of the best.
